Ray Bell, better known as Colorio, finds himself shooting his way out of a saloon where…his enemies had him cornered. When the shooting was over, Hal Anton was dead, but Colorio knew he had not fired the shot that killed him. Knowing that he would be framed for the man's death, he knew he must ride out of reach of the Texas law, so he headed for New Mexico and points North, where he encountered gunmen, outlaws, and Indians, friendly and unfriendly.
