Originally privately published in German in New Ulm, Minnesota in 1876. This is first English translation (1891). Covers the Minnesota-Sioux War of 1862, the Great Sioux War of 1876-77, Custer and the Little Big Horn, Sitting Bull and his return from Canada, the Ghost Dance, and the Wounded Knee fight. An important Indian Wars collectible.
