Édition originale de ce poème de Théo Lesoualc'h accompagné de deux empreintes en creux sur verre et papier réalisées par Bernard Dejonghe, tirage limité à 20 exemplaires numérotés sur papier indien. Celui-ci, n°16, es…t signé par l'auteur et l'artiste au colophon et comporte une page manuscrite par l'auteur. Michel Nitabah a édité de 1983 à 2009 des livres d'artiste, publiant à petit nombre des textes inédits d'auteurs choisis, qu'il associait à des artistes jusque-là peu sollicités pour ce type de production. Ses livres se distinguent par leurs formats et leurs dispositifs originaux, ainsi que par l'attention portée à leur matière, ce papier dont il avait la passion. C'est Michel Nitabah qui a marqué d'un livre exceptionnel la rencontre de deux voyageurs. Théo Lesoualc'h (1930- 2008) a parcouru le monde en donnant des cours de mime, s'est fixé un temps au Japon. En sympathie profonde avec la Beat Generation, il a restitué à l'homme son titre de vagabond dans ses romans: La vie vite (1971), Phosphènes (1972), Marayat (1973). Bernard Dejonghe (né en 1942), sculpteur, céramiste et verrier parcourt fréquemment les déserts d'Afrique et d'Amérique. Sa recherche intérieure intense interroge la fusion et les confins de la matière. Il s'exprime dans un langage de signes et formes simples et géométriques (triangles, cercles, demi-sphères).
