About the book >.>.> It was in late May or early June, approximately 57 years ago on the I?cica. I was catching graylings on the right bank when Bojan Bunc and Brane Suhy came to fly-fish on the left bank across the water from me. That was when I met Brane. He impressed me as a very modest person, somewhat intro- verted; but his body language and facial expressions told me that we would meet again. I immediately recognised him as a great lover of nature and fishing, a soul mate, so to say. That very day we discussed the necessity of preserving huchen spawn- ing grounds in the tributaries of the Ljubljanica, which provoked Bojan to utter a few cynical remarks about the former owners and keepers of those waters, including my father, who at the time was already a political prisoner. Brane took my side in the matter, which showed his noble character, particularly since he himself belonged to the system that was in power at that time. What followed were fishing competitions, organised by Brane with his fishing friends from Novo Mesto.
