Der Autor beleuchtet zivilgesellschaftliche entwicklungspolitische Vorhaben und Organisationen…in mehreren Staaten Asiens und Afrikas, die in verschiedenen Sektoren und Projekttypen arbeiten, dabei unterschiedliche Modelle der Partnerschaft mit staatlichen Organisationen anwenden. Er zeigt, dass moralisierende Argumente in der Bewertung von Leistungen und Grenzen zivilgesellschaftlicher Entwicklungshilfe nicht weiter helfen. Wichtig ist dabei ein umfassendes Verständnis des komplementären Zusammenspiels zwischen staatlichen, privatwirtschaftlichen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteuren.
