Verso, map has legend for 8 different kinds of fencing! Both articles are illustrated in b/w and colour drawings, maps and photographs. 'The Day.' is a very detailed description of the times and the setting of the pivotal battle that took place during the War of 1812. 'The Story.' relates how the planned historic community came into being (as did the Crysler Farm site) because of the hydro-electric project which flooded a large area of the original St. Lawrence River shoreline. 233 pp. Bottom corner of book is dog-eared, some foxing on ep's.
