The standardised questionnaire included 19 questions r…elated to the clinical examination and management of child phimosis. The answers were analysed 1 month after the date of sending. Results: 168 physicians completed the questionnaire. The selection of doctors in this study appeared to be representative of the Midi-Pyrénées doctor population in comparison with the data of the National Council of the Order. 95.3% of the doctors declared that they were treating children with phimosis. 41.3% of the doctors questioned did not use dermocorticoids in the treatment of preputial adhesions in children. 34.35% of the physicians surveyed were performing preputial adhesion release manoeuvres in their offices. Only 42.3% of the physicians surveyed felt sufficiently informed on the subject of child phimosis. 52 pp. Englisch.

Le questionnaire standardisé comportait 19 q…uestions en rapport avec l'examen clinique et la prise en charge du phimosis de l'enfant. Les réponses ont été analysées 1 mois après la date d'envoi. Résultats: 168 médecins ont répondu à ce questionnaire. La sélection de médecins de cette étude paraissait représentative de la population des médecins de Midi-Pyrénées en comparaison des données du Conseil National de l'Ordre. 95,3% des médecins déclaraient prendre en charge des enfants porteurs d'un phimosis. 41,3% des médecins interrogés n'utilisaient pas les dermocorticoïdes dans la prise en charge des adhérences préputiales de l'enfant. 34,35% des médecins interrogés effectuaient des manoeuvres de libération des adhérences préputiales à leur cabinet de consultation. Seulement 42,3% des médecins interrogés se sentaient suffisamment informés sur le sujet du phimosis de l'enfant.
