Lovely set of plates, measured drawings of St Paul's, various Oxford and Cambridge colleges, Hampton Court Palace and so on. Henry Beveridge was an Edinbugh…architect, with a long-standing interest in both woodwork and draughtsmanship. He had begun to assemble the collection of drawings published here during a 'prolonged measuring tour' started in 1910; his mentor was his fellow Scottish architect and enthusiast for the Renaissance period, John Kinross [Dictionary of Scottish Architects].NB - heavy item, may require additional postage to some destinations.
