Near fine bright copy in a lightly handled dust jacket with a few small tears and minor edge wear and the corners clipped at the front jacket flap. The dust jacket has a terrific color illustration of a swastika interlaced with spears. Ottwell Binns (1872 - 19…35) was a prolific British novelist and Unitarian minister who published a number of novels under the pseudonym of Ben Bolt. It is an adventure and mystery novel telling the story of a world famous Jewish opera singer Rachel Mendelssohn who is captured by the Nazis and held captive in a castle and her subsequent rescue.
