(The trademark gold spine was originally only printed on the dust jacket.) The back cover is Style #2.4 â" "The Little Golden Library" with numbered list to #27. Size: 7.5"-8" - Small Octavo (Sm. 8vo). 42 pages. Item Type: Book. The text block is tight. There are marks in blue pen (mainly a line or two) on the pages for Q, R, S, T and U. Solid blue binding over paper-covered cardboard covers. The blue has browned from exposure on the outside edge. There is a 1/4" chip at the head of the hinge of the front cover. The top 1 1/4" of the front hinge has split, though not all the way through, and the bottom 2" of the rear hinge has split through. The upper corner of the front cover has taken a bump, resulting in some creasing and there is a small bump at the top left of the front cover's edge. No foxing in this copy. A child's name has been written in an adult hand on the inside front cover. The page edges are tinted blue, with a 1/4" light spot on the top page edges and a 3/4" section that has faded to white on the side page edges. Quantity Available: 1.
