Interior text is clean and tight in it's binding, very slight yellowing with age. Nuemrous full page illustrations in color. Facsimile reproduction of works originally published in 1789 and 1794. Slipcase in covered in a matching blue cloth that has slightly lightened with age, paste-down illustrations on both sides. These illustrations have slight rubbing and wear. A nice copy. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Facsimile.

Maroon coloured boards with red cloth spine with original paper label (bit worn/marked/browned/little Loss) are very good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning, few marks, patchy fading, the odd small bump to edges, a couple of scrapes to top surface, patchy rubbing to edges and very minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages gilt. Rough cut page edges and bottoms. Pages bit tanned. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with a few marks/minor foxing. Odd label neatly removed from inside front board. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults.
