Softcover. Condizione: Good. SIGNED in ink by both Virgil Brock and his wife Blanche on the front wrapper. Virgil Prentis Brock (1887-1978) was a well-known minister who wrote over 500 sacred gospel songs including "Beyond the Sunset" and "He's a Wonderful Savior to Me" which are still popular and are in this song book. There is no obvious publication date, but the latest copyright date I noticed associated with the songs is 1938. There are 113 songs in this songster, some by Virgil Brock as well as other writers, all with music and lyrics. There is also a four page insert that has been taped into the front of the contents: "Four New Songs by the Brocks" that seems to have been published separately. This is a well-used booklet and a number of the songs have musical notations in pencil. The publisher's original brown,stapled, printed wrappers are worn. This is a scarce booklet, made even more uncommon with the signatures of this famous husband and wife duo. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 113 pages; Signed by Author.
