All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition set of three books consisting of the needlework A-Z, the appendix, and a supplement with index. Second edition. These copies have been bound into beautiful leather boards with ridged spines and the textblock edges have been decoratively marbled. Some contemporary annotations to the front free endpapers in ink and a few lighter, more recent ones in pencil. The first and the last handful of pages on each textbox are fairly foxed but this swiftly clears towards the centre of the book, and aside from rare spots of dust these copies are clear, crisp and tightly bound. A beautiful and vibrant set of books with around 800 illustrations and some embossed plates to mimic lace. more photographs available on request.
