The covers are flat and firm and a little grubby; the spine has vertical creases and their ends are scuffed. The end papers are lightly marked. The text block is secure, even and with tanned cut edges and page edges. There is a frontispiece of the author and a publisher's notice sewn into the title page as follows: "In consequence of the great advance in price of printing, paper and binding, the price of this book will be from this date be 1/3 net. London, October, 1916". Good condition. Publisher's list to rear. No dedications etc. Without jacket. Scarce.
