The texts of both volumes are wholly unmarked, pristine, and the red cloth bindings with gilt lettering are astonishingly bright and fresh in appearance. A miniscule area of the front cover of volume I shows the trace of a scratch, but this in entirely unobtrusive. Volume I also has a small stain on a part of the page edge, margin side, though this is in no way visible when the book is open. A brilliant copy of this scarce, two-volume set.
