Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Poor. CHRONOLOGY OF WOODROW WILSON, TOGETHER WITH HIS MOST NOTABLE ADDRESSES, A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS, AND THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS COVENANT, John Randolph Bolling, hardcover with pieces of detached dust jacket, 1927. BOOK CONDITION: good. The text block is in very good condition with no tears, marks, or dog ears. There is no bookplate or signature of a previous owner. Not a remainder or library book. The black cloth boards are in fairly good condition (bumped corners and spine, a one-inch strip of the dust jacket stuck to the spine). The detached dust jacket is in poor condition (all portions intact but for the spinal portion, which is torn and water-stained). 8 ¼ x 5 ½, 382 pages, 23 ounces XX [from the dust jacket flap] This book does that which has not before been attempted. It presents to the public, using material gathered from authentic sources, each important day of Woodrow Wilson's career arranged in chronological order. The compilation gives and represents in his own words the ideals and everything for which Wilson stood. It offers, clearly, an answer to the question, "Just what did Woodrow Wilson do, that he became a universally acknowledged world figure during the Great War, and what definite things entitle him to rank forever among the foremost of mankind? In addition to this chronological table, is a wealth of other valuable Wilson material: a resumé of his life, a description of his honors, degrees and offices; copies of the most important of his addresses, war messages, appeals to the people of his own and other nations; statements and correspondences concerning the Peace Treaty during his term as leader of our nation, and the full text of the Covenant of the League of Nations. Those interested in the policies and accomplishments of the War President will be overjoyed to find such a complete record. It will be invaluable to the student of history, government, or man.
