It was officially open for business on April 1, 1972. "The company was founded on the concept of providing engineering and merit shop construction service…s for capital-intensive industrial projects." There are signatures on the reverse side of the front cover of persons listed in the index. One of those is Bill Edmonds, a founding member of the corporation. There is a signed inscription by Doug Cross and signatures of six other persons, most of whose names are listed in the index: Jim Early, Roland (?) Wilson, Barbara Handley, Betty Meadows, Barbara J.
