Condizione: Near Fine. Reprint. [1978?] Early reprint of this uncommon Devo item by the band's frontman Mark Mothersbaugh. Bound in publisher's red wraps lettered in gilt on the front cover. [iv], 280, [1] pp. Near Fine with light creasing at joints, light wear, small abrasions to front cover. With the title, Mothersbaugh satiri…zes the English translation of Adolf Hitler's book, Mein Kampf. Booji boy, pronounced "Boogie Boy", was born after Mark ran across a peculiar baby mask in an Akron dime shop in 1975. Booji Boy was later introduced in the 1976 short film The Truth About De-Evolution written by Gerald Casale and Mothersbaugh. The red covers are an intentional jab at Chairman Mao's Little Red Book.
