Red, gilt and black embrossed pictorial cloth hardcover, 176 pp. Most of the gilt is rubbed off, cloth shows some moderate r ubbing and soil, corners bumped. Paper of text is age darkened, 4 or 5 leaves are creased, hinge is just starting to crack, but overall… book is tight, clean, unmarked, and even crisp. Consists of very nice, accurate B&W drawings of all types of mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, plants, etc. , with a brief description of each. Children's science, zoology, botany. ***********.
