Pub. blue cloth with a gilt block illus of a bear attacking a hunter with bear winning! A trifle grubbly but a complete copy of a scarce title.

Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Uncommon. Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt decoration to the front board. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby and rubbed. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is faded with bumping to ends, four raised bands. The endpapers have been replaced. 8 full page lithographs (coloured). One or two grubby marks but otherwise clean and tight. Occasional annotations to the textblock in ink. Pagination: xii pp prelims, 261 pp, + 24 pp adverts. Rear hinge cracking; slightly cocked. Internally crisp, clean and bright, with just the very occasional light mark. Complete with all 8 lithographic plates in lovely condition. A lovely copy of this scarce 1st edition.
