Haynie Grange #169 has a hall inland from the Pacific coast in Blaine, Washington and adjacent the border with Canada. Accompanying inscription, and signed by same Grange leader (unable to decipher signature), is a typed letter with Thomas Jefferson bust as letterhead, expressing the importance of this volume and its relevance to "The Grange." The organization is officially titled: The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry - an agricultural, farming and social group founded in 1867 with chapters across America.
