Previous owner's last name printed on corner of FFEP. Original DJ shows minor light rubbing along edges and folds. Small closed tear on rear upper edge. This is Mason and Melson's classic pioneering text about moon rocks that were collected from the Apollo missions. Mason would go on to be awarded the Leonard Medal and the Roebling Medal; both the highest honors in their respective fields, while Melson would serve on NASA'a preliminary examination team for Apollo 14.
