Cloth. Condizione: Very Good. Plates/Rear Folded Maps (illustratore). First Edition. Retired library two-volume set, with usual stamps, stickers, labels, markings, rear card pocket and blind-embossed seals. A very sound set with minor wear. Top edges gilt. Red cloth bindings, light fraying to corners of spine and corners of boards, bumped head and foot, library label remnant on front covers, glue stain on foot of spine, covers have shelf scuffing. Vol. I is 346pp. Vol. II is 306pp., including index. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library Copy/Hardcover.

Small strip lacking from foot of rear wrapper, some pencil notes on rear wrapper and inside front wrapper, else very good. One of 500 numbered copies signed by the author. Primarily reprints F. W. Benteen's testimony at the Reno Inquiry of 1879, interspersed with letters Brinstool owned. Signed.
