Pages are clean and bright, on the illustrations page there is a ¾"rip which does not enter any writing or illustrations. The rear end sheet has started to separate from other pages, but not all the way. The frontispiece is of the "water front of Gaspe Village" which is facing the title page, there are 24 illustrations through out the book. There is also a map of the towns of the Gaspe, which is a wonderful addition to the book by the former owner.
