Setting out from the elemental contributions on linguistic pair formations and the functionalisation of the mythical Dioskouri, this anthology brings together in particular analyses of exemplary literary couple constellations, of authorial relationships and cases of intertextuality in diverse literary fields of cultural history from humanism to the present day.
