Prima edizione Copia autografata
Hardcover. Condizione: As New. 1st Edition. ** RARE ** LIMITED EDITION IN SLIPCASE ** SIGNED BY SCOTTIE FITZGERALD SMITH ** MASSIVE, HEAVY BOOK ** HUNDREDS OF ILLUSTRATIONS ** INCLUDES 2 FULL-COLOR REPRODUCTION PRINTS OF ZELDA FITZGERALD WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS ** 2 ENDPAPER MAPS ** Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, 1974, stated 1st Edition, 1st Printing on the copyright page, with 246 pages. Folio size, book stands 14.25 inches tall. LIMITED EDITION, this edition is SIGNED by Scottie Fitzgerald Smith, and was limited to only 500 copies (this is #64). In thick marbled boards from a heavy-duty cloth spine that covers nearly half the front and rear boards. Embossed gilt lettering on the front and spine (gilt lettering on the spine may be slightly rubbed in spots, or was designed to appear this way, can't tell which). In heavy-duty cardboard slipcase partially bound in cloth This is the only edition that includes 2 large full-color Zelda Fitzgerald watercolor prints suitable for framing. The book is essentially flawless, and looks like new. The heavy-duty slipcase would also be As New but for a faint round sticker ghost on the cloth of the front upper right corner that most likely said something like "Autographed Copy" or "Limited Edition" or whatever before its removal. The book is quite clean and stain-free, square and straight, very firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, folded, creased, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain free, bright and white, and all text and illustrations are sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings anywhere in the book (but for the editor's signature). Aside from the faint sticker ghost, the slipcase is clean, stain-free, and intact, with no notable defects, corners sharp and unbumped, all seams sound and undamaged. This is a huge, very heavy book, and any international or overseas buyer will be required to pay additional shipping costs.
