XII, 134pp. Original photo-illustrated dust-jacket over purple cloth, with blind-stamped lettering on front cover and silver lettering on spine. Frontispiece portrait of the artist. This volume features 115 examples of Paul Harris' artwork made between 1949 and 1999. They can be divided loosely into three periods which intermingle and overlap. The first is highly experimental: works done in papier mache, plaster, and fabric. Concurrently, Harris made a series of male heads, cloned from one mold in vacuum formed plexiglas. The third and final period includes works made of wood or cast in bronze - diverse in richness of ideas and pared down in form to absolute essentials. Minor shelf wear.
