Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. This is the continuing saga of a true American musician/singer/comic/producer/composer. Leighton Wiley Brumble, better known as Corky Bennett, has done everything one can do in the world of show business. This story starts out in a little farm town in Washington State in the 1940s and continues into the new century, to the great entertainment venues of Nevada. You will be magically transported to actual road experiences, working with symphony orchestras, playing as a "single," working as a musical director to a star, and his never ending pursuit of comedic uniqueness. It details the ups and downs of the business and the fun he had while experiencing it. It tells of lost loves and dreams but also, great successes and friendships within the industry. Corky's writing style is like no other author's before. He has a way of interjecting comedy routines in the story. Just when you think he's serious, he does a "gotcha" on you. It's all very interesting and hilarious. This is a book every aspiring musician and entertainer should read! This item is printed on demand.
