The group Warsztat Formy Filmowej (Workshop of Film Form, WFF) was formed by Neo-Avant-Garde visual artists from the Film School of Lodz. Active between 19701977, the WFF was a pioneer of video art in Poland and structural cinema in Central and Eastern Europe. The group refused classical narrative and traditional film media, working instead somewhere between cinematography and contemporary art.
