Light shelf wear, underlining to title page and glued paper and spotting to endpapers. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. A handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp on the title page and some of the internal pages.
