Rear free endpaper and perhaps a flyleaf removed; OCLC calls for 64 pages so all text is present. Author's five-line ink inscription "To | George and Exa | ADB | Dec 20, 1949 | Santa Monica, Cal" on the front free endpaper (this being a family association copy as the co-inscribee is the author's brother George H. Dodson as evidenced by another Buck poetry book all acquired among one collection). Anne Dodson Buck is profiled on page 61 of James Lloyd's "Lives of Mississippi Authors 1817-1967.".
