On company letterhead, Whitney tells a client "we have added $2,000 fire insurance and $1,000 tornado insurance to your cabin at the Wausaukee Club." Boldly signed. Whitney was a principal of Critchell, Miller, Whitney & Barbour Insurance, an important Chicago insurance agency -- the relation between them and United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company is unclear, but an interesting addition nonetheless.
