Adelman's work captured a decade of racial strife during the 1960s, including portraits of Martin Luther King reciting his "I Have a Dream" speech, the fifty-mile march from Selma to Montgomery, and King resting in his casket after the assassination. His photos, some of which are archived at the Library of Congress, captured segregation and civil unrest in the South. Bob Adelman (illustratore).

Also a postcard with what is apparently one of Conant's photographs on front, advertising perfume; Adelman filled in the back with a not to Conant. Also on Adelmans letterhead stationery, a two-page handwritten letter to Conant; it speaks of the sad event of the death of his best friend, artist Roy Lichtenstein; about selling some of Conant's photos; and more. Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Signed By Significant Person. Book.
