Pullen's satirical take on the Franco-Prussian War, casting European countries as schoolchildren was first published in 1870 in London without illustrations. Old paper-tape at spine fold beginning t…o loosen revealing the original threads from sewing. Few loose pages, covers tanned, and corners chipped. Exceedingly scarce in the original paperwraps.
