Enciso was born in Tequila, Jalisco, in 1848 and died in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1903. He graduated as a lawyer in this city in 1877. He held various public positions, federal judge, director of the public library and professor of Roman Law. He published legal, historical and literary studies. Member of the Mexican Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence. He founded the newspaper El Litigante, where he published Camelias rojas in 1894. E-185; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
