Twenty-two pages (each panel… is one page), complete. Illustrations, most in black-and-white, a few in color, complete. Printed by the Poole Bros. of Chicago. Brochure is very clean and intact except for age toning, light foxing, and slight wear to extremities. A Very Good copy. A brochure that promotes travel to Pike's Peak and surrounding area through a descriptive tour on the Cog Railway and other travel routes. Among the places and points of interest named in the tour are Engleman's Glen, Colorado Springs, Manitou, the Manitou Station of the Cog Wheel Route, Half-Way House (mountain hotel), Lake Moraine, Summit Hotel, Cliff Dwellers' Canyon, Glen Eyrie, South Cheyenne Canyon, Ute Pass, Rainbow Falls, and Denver. Replete with brief yet informative sections that include other topics such as points of interest on the Cog Wheel Route (mostly natural features such as Mount Hiawatha, Lone Fisherman, Hanging Rock, Artist's Glen, and Inspiration Point), a historical synopsis of Zebulon Pike's attempted ascent to the famous summit, a history of the construction of the Cog Railway, statistics about Pike's Peak, and information about traveling to Pike's Peak by railway. Also includes an illustrated color spread of Pike's Peak, the major routes to reach the summit, and the valleys and cities below. Lettering at bottom of front and back: "C. W. Sells, Pres't & Gen.
