Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. The completed book is finally here, nearly quadrupling in size due to the newly added content, containing several primary source documents pertaining to Germany's Third Reich and Christianity, some newly translated out of German, all but one by the same author, Cajus Fabricius. In Positive Christianity in the Third Reich, Fabricius writes to demonstrate that National Socialism as a political identity and movement is compatible with Christianity. In part 1, he notes what National Socialism rejects, asserts, and stands for; and in part 2, he notes the particular Christian foundations of National Socialism.Other works include: German Christians in the Struggle for the GospelGermany and the Religious World SituationThe 28 Theses of the German ChristiansThe Jewish Question in the German Evangelical ChurchThe Reich in StruggleInner Armorand several formal and legal documents of Fabriciusplus, The 28 Theses of the German Christians Explained by Walter GrundmannThe complete volume forms a dynamic spectrum of material composed of political theory, historical commentary, polemical responses to theological disputes, private pleas made to colleagues and certain German authorities on behalf of the German nation and for its future health, and sworn affidavits given in Nuremberg after the war had ceased. Together they offer a useful glimpse into the first-hand, developing thought and interest not just of Fabricius as an individual, but of other Germans like him-all from a crucial period of recent history. Multi-work volume of primary source material on a crucial period of recent history from a Protestant theologian and National Socialist party member. Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. This work was published in Dresden, Germany in 1937 by a protestant Theologian Professor Dr. Cajus Fabricius. As most books published during the period 1933-1945 were, of course, published in German, the American reader's access to such materials is greatly impaired. Most books from the period, if in English at all, are typically from anti-Christian sources which seek to denigrate and paint everyone and everything in Germany as anti-Christian, hateful, pagan, ignorant, or some such.Professor Dr. Cajus Fabricius obviously does not fit this category by his education and title, yet he would still be slandered in some manner by anti-Christian forces in an attempt to prevent knowledge of actual events from breaking into the American consciousness. Because of this, even at that time, when anti-Christian forces were working diligently to bring about World War II, and certainly still in our age, some 80 years following the end of that war, the blackening continues. As Christians it is necessary for us, therefore, to ignore these attempts to block discussion and knowledge that the enemies of God do not want espoused. It is in this regard that Jesus is called the greatest anti-Semite in history. Therefore it is important for Catholics, and all Christians, to study and learn about this period free from the intellectual and social constraints, particularly from a true Christian standpoint. Positive Christianity is a valuable and essential work in this regard. This item is printed on demand. Reprint. First published in Germany in 1935, the Protestant theologian and Nazi Party member, Prof. Cajus Fabricius (1884-1950), reconciles Christianity and National Socialism and refutes the claim that all National Socialists are pagan or religiously intolerant. The book is organized into two sections: Part one: The Religious Policy of National Socialism and Part two: The Christian Foundations of National Socialism. This edition was the first issued in the U.S. and was published by James K. Warner's New Christian Crusade Church. Warner includes a preface. Stapled wrappers, 72, [2] pp. A few dog-eared corners, else a near fine copy. In SIBA.
