Maude served in South Africa, on the Western Front (3rd Corps Staff), in The Dardenelles (Officer Commanding 13th Division), and in Mesopotamia, where he commanded the army capturing Baghdad. A book in Good condition with hinge starting at frontispiece and age-worn boards, but binding still tight. Lacking the rare dust-jacket.
