Prima edizione
Hardcover. 303p., illustrated with numerous (about fifty) b&w photographs on glazed inserted stock, plus a large folded line-map (14x16.5 inches, detailed, captioned "Archangel Government") bound in at terminus. First edition 9x6 inch blue cloth boards gilt, a very rough hardbound casing: top and tail rims are frayed and torn as are both outer joints and corner-tips; spine & cover titling are badly dimmed; front hinge is torn although (oddly) is not weak; ffep bears an old ink ownership. Textblock is sound and firm, clean and free of any markings. A slightly better than "reading copy" whose photos are rather unexpectedly scene-setting.
