No writing within save for the captions on 12 full page b/w plates by Maurice Tulloch. Unclipped original b/w on cream background dj with red title shows light soil and a partial, very feint cup ring on frt panel. Small repaired chips at spine ends barely visible, jacket displays well in new mylar. The author, Hunting correspondent of the Daily Telegraph and Morning Post, writes for the benefit of seekers of fox-hunting knowledge. The phraseology of fox-hunting is strange and more complicated than any other sport; and in addition; to purely technical terms, ancient expressions which have passed from every-day use are recorded together with the procedure and general happenings in fox-hunting.
