Fotografia
Vintage borderless publicity portrait photograph of actor Buster Keaton Jr. in his shirtsleeves, issued to promote the 1928 silent comedy film. Contemporary dealer stamp on the verso. The last film Keaton would make with United Artists before moving to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The film was a commercial and critical failure upon release, but has since been reevaluated as one of Keaton's masterpieces. From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969. 6.25 x 9.5 inches, archivally mounted in a white mat measuring 11 x 14 inches. Very Good, with moderate wear at the bottom corners.

Manoscritto / Collezionismo cartaceo
Vintage lobby card for the 1915 silent film. Based on the 1908 play by Walter C. Hackett and Owen Frawley Kildare, in turn based on Kildare's 1903 memoir "My Mamie Rose." A poor Irish-American orphan rises into power as a mob leader, but decides to cut his criminal ties when he falls in love with a beautiful social worker. One of the first full-length gangster films, presumed to be lost until the 1970s and now preserved at the Museum of Modern Art's Department of Film. Set in New York. 14 x 11 inches. Very Good, moderately toned and edgeworn, with pinholes to the corners. National Film Registry. Scorsese, A Personal Journey Through American Movies.
