Hardcover. Condizione: Good. 1st Edition. Good-. This extract from a journal was deaccessioned from the Harvard University Museum of Comparative Zoology library, originally the gift of Alexander Agassiz, who pencilled two words in the fore-edge margin of p. 473, the page immediately preceding Rabl's article. The library bound the extract in a quarter beige cloth pamphlet binder with marbled boards; the extract is bound in with cords, which are a bit loose but holding precariously; pages have fore-edge corner crease at top and bottom; the first plate at back is loose at top, holding overall; the second plate has a chip in the top corner of the fore-edge margin; text clean. Paginated [474]-558, with in-text illustrations and two plates, the second being a foldout. Interesting provenance. [br 6].
