Dossier-style novelty book, a faux-nonfiction set of "documents" related to the "The Sign of Four" written as if Holmes and Watson were real and provided these papers to the publisher. Cover shows minor wear and tear, rubbing, is plain wraps like a file folder bound with red ribbon and two holes…. Pages are lightly tanned and clean. Includes notes "written by" the characters, photographs of the characters, type-written and annotated notes by Watson, evidence samples in envelopes like the poisoned thorn and the bloody rope, newspaper clippings, telegraphs, etc.
