Scarce catalogue celebrating the 70th birthday of Hong Kong artist Gaylord Chan (1925-2020). The catalogue features numerous plates of his brightly colored paintings and some photos from his life. There is also a section, "Gaylord Chan on Age, Art and Knowing When to Stop." In addition, the catalogue presents essays by San Chan (the artist's son), Hanart TZ Gallery's Tsong-zung Chang (Johnson Chang), and journalists Scarlet Cheng and Lulu Yu. Hanart held an exhibition of Chan's works from October 12 to November 2, 1995.Stapled to the front flap is a handwritten note from Chan dated 5-9-1998 (it appears to be a copy, not original).
