Aggiungi al carrelloOriginal gray cloth and printed paper over boards, quarto, xviii, (99) pp + (11) pages of facsimiles from the original journal. Frontispiece and several colored illustrations in the text. Introduction to "C" by Susanna B. Dakin. A charming account of two teenage girls' camping trip (in high style) to Yosemite and Big Trees in the summer of 1878. Published for the first time from the family papers in the Bancroft Library. Her "confessions" to Brother Cornelius provided "some life and literary value to the painstaking, unwieldy biography." A fine copy, entirely clean and unworn First edition, limited to 450 copies designed and printed by Mallette Dean. …
