The building no longer exists, of course, but the…camaraderie and love of books of the "Arkites" are now embodied in the Rowfant Club.) No. 19 of an edition limited to 130 copies. 9 ¼ hes x 12 ¼. 46 pp. + printer's mark page. Illustrations: (1) reproduction of the Dec. 10th 1844 letter from J. J. Audubon to William Case, regarding the Quadrupeds, (and other printed materials regarding J. J. & Victor Audubon, prospectus for the Vivaparous Quadrupeds of North America, etc., pp. 15-25); (2) photogravure of the exterior of the "Ark"; (3) double-page plate reproducing an 1858-59 painting by Julius Gollman, of some of the members ("Arkites") of the "Ark."
