However, it is my belief that this book is not niche book. This is a book for anyone and everyone that cares for the future of our world. Someday we will be old and these children will be the ones taking care of us. It is with this mind set that amending the current system of Treatment Foster Care is a civil rights issue. After reading The Children's Jungle, I am sure that some of the prisoners of war are treated with more care and dignity under the Geneva Convention than our children in Treatment Foster Care. Catherine shows us that by learning the flaws of the systems currently in place are the only way to find the solutions. This book will surely put anyone with a heart into action.
