Frontispiece is color illustration by Lionel Edwards. 29 other full page illustrations in black and white throughout volume are by Edwards and Cecil Aldin. Edwards and Aldin are two of the finest and most renowned hunting/ horse illustrators of this period. Higginson, an American foxhunting man, has compiled an anthology of well known and little known pieces on his sport.
