The pamphlet presents the findings of 'the whole society of Architects' (including Matthew Brettingham, William Chambers, John Soane) who met…in 1792 to consider the causes of the frequent fires in London and how to prevent them, citing correspondence from Henry Wood in Sloane Square and 'several desultory, but some ingenious, Methods of prevention'.
