Much of his collection, including works by Winslow Homer, Childe Hassam, John Singer Sargent and Whistler, were donated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art following his death. The book has 29 pages of text and 261 pages of black-and-white photographs. Tiny in name of ?Henry G. Davidson, 1909? on a front blank page. Photographs made expressly for this catalogue by Mr. Charles Balliard. (illustratore).
